Basic Info
Name:Linda
Bio
S K E T C H

CHARACTER
Name:
Lausanne Quinn
Alias: Linda
Age: 11
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Doesn't really care.
Habit/Neurosis: Art. Oh jeez, give her a pencil and some paper and she'll be happy. The minute she sees anything that she wants to keep in mind -- whether it be person, situation, item, idea -- she draws it. She's constantly sketching, and will even walk up to people she doesn't know and ask for them to pose so she can draw them. She's constantly searching for models and even at a young age, has studied the human body and seen it naked.

Personality: A typical girl. She's happy, goofy, but quiet. Sure, she takes her part in interacting with others, but often keeps to herself, preferring to just sit there and draw. But don't mistake that for someone who doesn't know how to deal with others, she's very sociable. When she's ready, she'll come out and talk with people. She's a pleasure to have in one's company because she's always willing to make people feel better. Linda can be very sympathetic at times, and is also, unfortunately, very gullible towards some. She always tries to include everyone and doesn't like having people feel left out. She's very caring and is often someone people look up to. She knows how to take charge and be serious, but is often too dorky for others to notice that.

However, do not interrupt her when drawing. You will get a very angry person. Often, she gets so sucked into it, she doesn't notice her surroudings and will usually snap at people who do bother her in the process. But don't worry, the next day, Linda will apologize and offer to draw something in payment. But other than that, she's not a very irritable person. But if anything harms or ruins a picture, she'll murder you. Linda holds her pictures in highest value, above everyone and everything else and will hurt someone for doing anything to it. She's also very protective over her friends and loved ones.

Linda has a bit of self-esteem problems though. She is very nervous about her appearance and her drawing abilities, even her intelligence at some times. She's not very competitive, but she will feel terrible because she's not the best or because she can't get something right. She often goes into states of depression over her art quality if she sees someone better than her, or when she is unable to draw. Artist blocks equals the worst possible thing that can happen to her.

There are also times when she can become very... dangerous. Unpredictable, but this is so rare it's not even worth mentioning. Just watch the words people say around her, one might be a trigger.

History: So, like everyone else, Linda's past was pretty angsty. She came from a family of four; her mum, dad, older brother, and well, her. Her parents were pretty successful, doing what they did. Her brother just graduated out of high school and was going into medical school, with really high grades and the not. She was just eight when it happened though.

One day, upon coming home from school, Linda, to her surprise, discovered her family dead. Brother's limbs thrown across the room, mother hanging from the ceiling by a noose, father's suffocated and then body stabbed repeatedly. It was quite traumatizing. Apparently, a killer had snuck into her house and well, the results are obvious. Immediately, Linda was sent to an orphanage, as well as a therapist three times a week.

She was quite the fucked up little girl.

Of course, the murderer -- a serial killer, in fact -- was found and arrested, but it didn't seem to change her. She still acted smiley and happy and the not, but her therapist seemed to insist there was something wrong. After all, a little girl cannot be all sparkles and cheerfulness after seeing her family's slaughtered bodies strewn across the house. But there seemed to be nothing wrong with her. She laughed and smiled like a normal girl, just with a bit of an obsessive habit with art. Soon after, at the age of ten, she was moved to another orphanage -- one for bright little boys and girls who were in truth, all fucked in the head.

She'd be fitting right in, hm?
